
Dr. Deeb Helal was first introduced to dentistry as a child when visiting his father’s practice. After attending dental school to join his father, he realized early on that he had a special passion for surgery. He earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2009 from Boston University then completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA.
While in dental school, Dr. Helal was inducted into the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Lambda Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He was also awarded with AAOMS Dental Student OMS award.
After completing his training, Dr. Helal practiced oral surgery for three years in New Hampshire before moving back to Massachusetts. Dr. Helal is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has a special interest in implant dentistry, and jawbone reconstructions.
